Sukkah & Schach Guarantees
The 10-Year Sukkah Guarantee
This limited warranty covers the structural components and material integrity of your Sukkah for ten years from the date of purchase, under normal seasonal use. Years 1-5 cover the frame and the walls. Years 6-10 cover the frame.
Coverage is automatic. There is nothing to register.
Which warranty applies to you: the 10-Year Guarantee applies to Sukkahs purchased on or after August 1, 2026. Sukkahs purchased before that date remain covered by the 5-year warranty in effect at the time of purchase, which you can read here. If you are not sure which one you have, contact us and we will tell you.

- Tearing: Covered if fabric tears under normal use during Sukkot.

The exclusions listed under What's Not Covered apply in every year, including years 1-5.

Definition of Normal Use
Normal Use means standard setup, use, and takedown of the Sukkah for the Sukkot season, in moderate weather conditions. It does not include year-round usage or exposure to storms and heavy environmental stress. The Sukkah should be taken down within the season month (30 days) in a calendar year.
What's Not Covered
These exclusions apply in all ten years.
-
Improper Setup: Warranty does not apply if the Sukkah was:
- Not properly assembled or anchored
- Set up on uneven or unstable ground
- Modified in any way from its original design
- Extreme Weather: No coverage for damage caused by storms, heavy winds, extreme rain or flooding, snow, or hurricanes.
- Negligence: If you fail to disassemble or secure the Sukkah in advance of bad weather, any damage resulting from that storm is not covered under warranty.
- Extended Assembly: This warranty covers seasonal use, not year-round use. If the Sukkah is left standing for more than the season month (30 days) in a calendar year, any damage resulting from that extended exposure is not covered.
- Storage Damage to Walls: Mold, mildew, or odor on walls resulting from improper storage.
- Cosmetic Wear on Walls: Fading, discoloration, staining, and normal cosmetic wear of walls.
- Zippers and Velcro: Damage to zippers or Velcro caused by human pull force.
- Unauthorized alterations or improper storage.
- Damage after the 10-year window.
Reminder: Sukkahs are temporary structures and must be taken down or secured if severe weather is expected. Customers are responsible for monitoring conditions and taking appropriate precautions.
Resolution Options
At our discretion, we will:
- Replace the damaged part or parts,
- Provide a repair solution, or
- Offer a partial credit toward the purchase of a new unit.
Replacement parts may be of comparable quality and may not exactly match the original components. If a part is no longer in production, we will supply a comparable part or offer a credit.
Shipping for Warranty Replacements
- Approved warranty replacements ship via UPS Ground.
- It is at our discretion whether to charge shipping for replacement items.
- Typically, warranty items in the first year from purchase ship at no charge. From year 2 on, we charge shipping and handling.
- If you need the replacement faster than UPS Ground, expedited shipping is available at your own cost.
Limit of Liability
REPAIR, REPLACEMENT, OR CREDIT IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY UNDER THIS WARRANTY. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
Claim Process
To file a warranty claim:
- Submit your claim on our Customer Service page.
- Submit photos of the damage and of the Sukkah setup.
- Claims are reviewed within a few business days, and approved solutions are issued promptly.
Proof of purchase is required for all claims.
Other Terms
- Coverage is automatic. No registration is required.
- Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
- Warranty applies to seasonal Sukkot use only, not year-round or commercial installations.
- This warranty covers the Sukkah frame and, in years 1-5, the Sukkah walls. Custom-sized Sukkahs are covered on the same terms as standard models.
- Expansions: expansion parts built into a covered Sukkah are covered for the remaining term of that Sukkah's warranty. An expansion does not start a new warranty period of its own.
- Referral extension: if you have earned a warranty extension through our referral program, it adds two years of Frame Coverage beyond year 10, on the same terms as years 6-10.
- Schach, artwork, decorations, and accessories are not covered by this warranty. See the Schach Guarantee below.
General Sukkah Care & Maintenance
- Store all parts in a dry, covered location after the holiday.
- Do not leave the Sukkah assembled for more than 30 days in a calendar year.
- Clean and dry walls thoroughly before storing to avoid mold or mildew.
Schach Guarantee (First Season Only)
We stand behind the quality of our Schach and guarantee it for your first season. Please note that Schach is made from natural bamboo material, which is inherently susceptible to mold.
- If you experience mold or raffia issues during your first use, we will replace the affected schach at no cost.
- Due to the nature of the material, no coverage is offered beyond the first seasonal use or first year.
Care Recommendations
- To protect your Schach, we strongly recommend spraying it with an anti-mold treatment before and after use.
- Ensure that your Schach is completely dry before storing it to prevent mold growth during the off-season.
Schach Claim Process
To file a Schach claim:
- Submit your claim on our Customer Service page.
- Submit photos of the Schach mold or issue.
- Claims are reviewed within a few business days, and approved solutions are issued promptly.
